Training Up the Next Generation to Serve God for Life
At MPChurch, our Children’s Ministry exists to teach biblical truths in a Christ-centered environment—shaping children to know, love, and serve God for the rest of their lives.
Children are not just the future of the church—they are the church of today. At MP Kids, our passion is to raise up a generation of children who will serve God for a lifetime. Every lesson, every activity, every worship moment is built upon that goal. We’re not just entertaining kids for an hour a week—we’re investing in eternity by planting deep spiritual roots in young hearts.
Our ministry is designed to be a safe, joyful, and biblically grounded environment where children feel loved, valued, and discipled. Through engaging teaching, dynamic worship, meaningful relationships, and service-focused learning, we help children understand who God is and who they are in Him.
Our Vision
To Teach Children to Serve God
for the Rest of Their Lives
We’re not just raising good kids—we’re raising disciples.
1. To Teach
Teaching is our central purpose. We are not babysitters—we are spiritual instructors. Every classroom moment is intentionally crafted to instruct, guide, and disciple young minds. Teaching involves more than facts; it’s about transformation. We show children how to apply biblical truths in their everyday lives, shaping their hearts and minds to follow Jesus.
2. Children
Our ministry is fully devoted to kids. While we love serving families as a whole, our primary focus is children—from infants to 12 years old. We meet them where they are in terms of developmental understanding and help them grow in spiritual maturity, one age-appropriate step at a time.
3. To Serve God
We are not merely raising moral, well-behaved children. Our goal is that every child who comes through MP Kids will live a life of devotion to God. We teach them what it means to serve—not out of obligation, but out of love and relationship with Jesus Christ. From prayer and praise to helping others, our lessons encourage service as worship.
4. For the Rest of Their Lives
We think long-term. We aim to instill a faith that lasts—not a seasonal connection with God, but a lifetime walk with Him. The seeds we plant today will one day blossom in their teenage years, their careers, their marriages, and their roles as future parents. We don’t want temporary enthusiasm—we’re after eternal transformation.
Teach Biblical Truth. Inspire Worship.
Cultivate Fellowship.
The “how” behind our vision—discipleship through action.
1. We Teach Biblical Truths
The Bible is our only curriculum—every lesson, every time.
We believe the Word of God is complete, inspired, and sufficient. That’s why our curriculum is centered 100% on Scripture—not trends, entertainment, or popular culture. You won’t find Santa Claus in our Christmas lessons or Easter bunnies in our Resurrection stories. While we celebrate holidays, we stay focused on the biblical foundations behind them.
Each Sunday, children explore stories from the Bible in ways they can understand and apply. Lessons are interactive and age-appropriate, but always grounded in truth. Our goal is to build a solid biblical worldview from the very beginning of their spiritual journey.
2. We Teach Children to Worship God
Worship is a lifestyle—not just a song.
At MP Kids, children learn that worship is more than singing or raising their hands during music time. It’s about honoring God with their actions, words, and attitudes. We show children that worship is valuing God above everything else—at home, in school, with friends, and in their thoughts.
In each service, children participate in worship songs, but we also teach what it means to worship with obedience, kindness, and generosity. We train them to understand that everything they do can be an act of worship when done in love and reverence for God.
3. We Teach Children to Have Fellowship
Faith grows best in friendship.
Children thrive when they feel connected—not just to God, but to one another. At MP Kids, we help children build godly friendships by teaching them how to love, forgive, share, and encourage each other. Church is not just about coming and sitting—it’s about belonging.
In every class, we create opportunities for children to engage in group activities, share testimonies, and pray for one another. Our aim is to teach them the value of Christian community early, so they naturally seek fellowship as they grow older.
4. We Teach Children to Serve Others
Serving begins in childhood—and lasts a lifetime.
Children are naturally self-focused. Our job is to lovingly train them to think beyond themselves. We believe service is essential to spiritual formation. At MP Kids, children are regularly encouraged to help, share, give, and participate in acts of kindness.
We provide opportunities for children to serve in meaningful ways, both within the ministry and in outreach efforts. Whether it’s creating cards for the elderly, participating in missions offerings, or cleaning up after snack time, every act of service builds a servant’s heart.
Parent Partnership: You’re Part of the Journey
Spiritual formation is a team effort.
We believe parents are the primary spiritual leaders in a child’s life. MP Kids is here to support—not replace—that role. We partner with families by providing resources, communication, and prayer support to help reinforce what’s taught on Sundays throughout the week.
Parents receive:
Weekly email summaries of lessons and memory verses
Devotional materials for home
Family worship playlists
Opportunities to volunteer and observe classes
We believe when church and home work together, the impact on a child’s faith is exponential.
